Instrument Selection: The entire night is yours to go around and play each
instrument. Every instrument is set up at a station with an instructor and
sanitization materials. The instructors will teach the instrument for a few
minutes, mainly how to hold it and play some first notes. After that, the
instructor will give them a rating from 1-5 on how well suited the student is
for the instrument. If the student score between a 4 or a 5 then they can
apply to play that instrument. Students will apply for 3 instruments in order
or preference. I cannot promise every student will play their first choice, but
every student will play one of their top 3 choices.

Imaginary Middle School has enjoyed having all the students try
the instruments. After careful examination of several factors (lip
structure, teeth alignment, ensemble needs, etc) it has been
determined that your child will play the
__________________________________________________!!!!!
To get this instrument you have 3 options
1. Get it from a music store. There are many in the area (some
also do in house repairs if that’s needed) and they will rent
instruments out.
2. The school offer some instruments for a smaller fee, talk to
me privately and we can get that worked out.
3. Buy your own instrument. This is the least favorable because
when you start we don’t know how dedicate your student will
be to the instrument or if the instrument is of goo quality.
We will be playing out of the Standard of Excellence Book 1 by
Bruce Pearson. This will need to be purchased so we can play
out of them by the 2nd week of class. If you have any questions
