Canara Bank Internet Banking
Canara Bank Internet Banking Facility is available for Retail and
Corporate customers. Customers can register for saving, Current and
OD accounts using self service option.
Pre-requisites for Self Registration
• Mobile Number must be registered with the Account Number
• Account Number must be linked with Active Debit Card
• Account should be full KYC Compliant
• Among corporate customers only proprietorship customers can
avail this self registration facility.
Registration Process for individual
• Go to Link :- [Link] and click on New registration
• It will prompt ‘Terms and Conditions’ page, click on “I Agree”.
• Enter Account Number, ATM cum Debit Card Number, Registered
Mobile Number and Enter either Customer Id or details of one of
the last five Credit/Debit transactions.
• Click on “I Accept the Terms and Conditions” and Submit “I Agree”
• User will receive One Time Password (OTP) to the registered
mobile
• Enter OTP & Re-enter OTP and submit
• The next screen will prompt for Login Password & confirm the
same by re-entring Login password. (User can set Login password
as per password policy shown in the same page).
• System will display “User Created Successfully”. Click OK
• Now the Customer can logon to [Link] with the
USER-ID (same as his customer-id) and LOGIN PASSWORD given by
the customer himself.
• After logging in for the first time, the customer can click on
“Generate Transaction Password” option present in the top line
of the Menu and can generate his transaction password for doing
financial transactions by entering his ATM card number, ATM Pin &
ATM expiry date.

Canara Bank Mobile Banking
‘CanMobile’ is Mobile Banking application is available for all canara
bank customers having saving, Current and OD accounts. Android /
iPhone users can Download the app from Google play store/app
store and activate it.

Registration Process

• You will get User id and password through SMS
• After logging in the App, It will verify your registered mobile
number through OTP.
• After successful verification, it will prompt to set new six digits log
in Password (mPin)
• Enter the debit card details and ATM pin.
• It will prompt “you are registered for CanMobile successfully”

Green Pin
“Green Pin” facilitates seamless generation of Pin for the debit card
digitally, online and instantaneously, providing a delightful
experience and is one of the novel Green initiatives.
Background: Pin is printed in pre-printed stationary and is given
along with the plastic card at the time of fresh issuance to the
customer. If the customer forgets the Pin, the card has to be surren-
dered, hotlisted.
Green Pin Facility: It enables the customer to generate Debit Card
Pin at the time of fresh issuance of card. It also enables the customer
to regenerate Pin for the existing Debit Card in case the same is
forgotten. This facility is secured and cost effective & provides ease of
doing transaction. Customer can use debit card immediately since
activation is done in real time.
Pre-requisites for Green Pin Generation
• Mobile Number must be registered with the Account Number
• Account Number must be linked with Active Debit Card
Green Pin Generation Procedure
• Customer has to swipe the Debit Card at Canara Bank ATMs
• Under language selection screen, Green Pin/Forgot pin option is
to be selected
• Generate OTP menu to be selected
• Customer is prompted to enter the Registered Mobile Number
and Account Number
• After successful validation of Mobile Number, Account Number
and Card Number, OTP will be received on registered Mobile
Number
• Customer is Prompted to enter the OTP and new Pin twice.
• After OTP verification, ATM will give a successful Pin change
message on the screen and an SMS will also be sent to the
Registered Mobile Number.
Canara Cart
Canara cart is a mobile app for all Canara Bank customers. It is a
basket for genuine mobile apps of Canara Bank. Customers can
download /update genuine canara bank mobile apps using this
app. This app facilitates users to quickly launch various installed
apps, install new apps and easily manage version upgrades, all at
one place.
Registration is not required for using Canara Cart. Users can
download the app from google play store and start exploring.

Canara eInfobook is a mobile app for android/iphone users having
canara bank account for various banking services. It is available in
8 languages – English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu,
Marathi and Bengali.

• Download and install the eInfobook app from Google play

Canara mServe is a mobile app enables the customers to temporarily

• Mobile Number must be registered with the Account Number
• Mobile number in debit card & credit card package should
be same.
• Account Number must to be linked with Active Debit Card

Canara mServe installation Procedure
• Download Canara mServe app from google play store/ app store.
• Enter your 13 digit canara bank account number and registered
mobile number in the application and click on “Register”.
• An SMS will be sent to the bank from your registered mobile
number.
• You will receive OTP sent to registered mobile number.
• Enter the OTP and click on verify “OTP”.
• After authentication, set new five digit pin and confirm the same
by re-entering the pin.
Services offered:
Switch On/Off Debit/Credit Card: User can switch off the card
temporarily if he/she feels it has been compromised and turn it on
when need arises. Swipe left on the option to switch on the card and
right to switch off the card.
Hotlist Debit/Credit Card: In case of theft or a lost card, users can
hotlist the card instantly. Swipe right on the option > block the card
permanently.
POS/ATM Limit: POS/ATM limit can be set within Bank limit for debit
Canara GeoLocate
Canara GeoLocate is a mobile app that enables a GPS based
search to locate Bank’s ATMs/Branches/E-Lounges. It also helps
the customers to easily navigate and to reach the desired location
using Google map.
Registration Process:

• After installing, click on “open” to use Canara Geo Locate.

Canara Bank Debit Card
CANARA BANK DEBIT CARD is issued to all eligible account holders
upon their request. Canara Bank Debit Card facilitates withdrawal of
cash at ATMs and payments for Purchases at Point of Sale & on the
Internet. Customer can also avail more than one card, depending
upon the need.
Note: Initially all Debit Cards are not enabled for Global usage, to
prevent fraudulent attempts. Cards holders to furnish specific

Canara Bharat QR
Bharat QR Code is launched by Government of India for faster and
secured transactions. It can be used for making payments to
merchants by scanning QR code.
• No Physical PoS machine required

Requirements for Merchants:
1. Current Account or Savings Account with Canara bank.
2. Android Phone for viewing transaction details.
How Merchant gets enrolled for Bharat QR:
• Fill Bharat QR Application with required Documents and
submit in nearby branch
• Merchant receives Bharat QR Code within 4-7 working days
• Merchant has to download Canara Bharat QR App for
generating Bharat QR Codes and for viewing the transaction
history
How to make Payment :
• Download your bank’s Mobile Banking App
• Select the ‘Bharat QR Scan to Pay’ option and scan QR Code
• Upon Scanning, Merchant name and Debit card details linked
to particular account will Pop Up
• Select the card number and enter the amount payable to
merchant
• Once the payment option is clicked by the customer,
merchant’s account gets credited next working day.
Benefits of Bharat QR to Merchants:
• No hassle of batch closing at EOD like in PoS machine
• Payment is settled in T +1 day i.e. next day from transaction

BHIM Aadhaar POS
BHIM Aadhaar POS (also termed as BHIM Aadhaar Pay), an
Aadhaar based Payment Solution for Merchants, used for accepting
payments from customers for the goods/services rendered.
Requirements for Merchants:
1. Current Account or Savings Account with Canara bank.
2 Android Phone with version 5.2 & above and internet connection
with either Wi-Fi or 3G network & above is mandatory.
3 Biometric Fingerprint device
Merchant Self Registration:
Pre-Registration:
Merchant has to download and install three apps from Play Store
1. BHIM Aadhaar Pay Canara-Bank App
a. Click on “SIGN UP” option available on the login screen.
b. Enter merchant details like Aadhaar Number, Merchant Type
(Individual), Merchant Name, Mobile number etc.
c. Click on Register. It will display status of Registration “Success/
Failure”.
2. Mantra RD Service App
a. This app will run in background and no additional action needs
to be performed by merchant for this application.
3. Mantra Management Client App
a. Connect the mobile with fingerprint scanner device via USB.
b. Click on ‘Register’, wait till the time you get device serial
number displayed on the screen.
c. Application prompts for conversion from Public to Registered
Device. Press “OK”
d. Message prompt is displayed indicating the “Success /Failure”
of the Registration Status.
e. Kindly remove the USB connectivity from the Mobile Handset
and connect again for the RD Registration changes to reflect.
Post-Registration:
1. Merchant has to visit Canara Bank Branch and submit an
Application form and execute Letter of Undertaking (LoU).
2. Branch has to authorize the Merchant details in BHIM Aadhaar
PoS Portal.
3. After Branch authorization, Merchant has to connect
fingerprint scanner to the mobile handset via USB.
4. Open BHIM Aadhaar Pay app and click on “BIOMETRIC SIGN IN”
or login using User Id and Password.
5. Enter Merchant’s Account number, Aadhaar number & Mobile
number and authenticate using Fingerprint device when
prompted. (this process occurs only on first login or whenever
handset is changed)
6. After successful authentication of details, Merchant can start
accepting payments.
How to Receive Payment :
• Merchant has to connect Mobile phone with Biometric Fingerprint
device
• Log into BHIM Aadhaar PoS app and select the option ‘Aadhaar Pay’.
• Enter customer’s 12 digit Aadhaar number

BHIM (Bharat Interface For Money)

Pre-requisites for Self Activation
1. Current Account or Savings Account with Canara bank.
2. Mobile number must be linked to Bank Account
3. Bank Account must be linked to valid debit card
4. Android or IOS Smartphone with Internet Connection either wifi
or 3G network & above.
Registration Process
• Android/IOS users can Download Bhim App from Google play
store/app store by searching ‘BHIM’
• Install the application and choose your language.
• The app will prompt you to verify your mobile number using SMS.
Select the registered mobile SIM (if using dual SIM phone). Click on
Next and wait for the verification process to be completed.
• Once the verification is completed, input a four digit passcode
(password for future Login in BHIM app)
• After passcode is set, the app will ask you to select your bank.
• Select your bank and enter last 6 digits of debit card number and
enter expiry date. You will receive One Time Password (OTP)
• Enter OTP and Set 6 digits UPI PIN (financial or Non-financial
transaction password)
• You are ready to do transactions (Financial and non-Financial
both)
How to Enroll as a merchant
• For enrolling as a merchant, click on right top corner menu option
available on home screen
• Select “I Am A Merchant” option and enter merchant details
• Click on proceed, you will be enrolled as a Merchant.

USSD (Unstructured Supplementary
Service Data)
USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) is a technology
normally used in the field of telecommunication. It is available on all
GSM enabled handsets. You do not need an internet connection to
use the services of this method
Pre-requisites for Self Activation:
• Mobile Number must be registered with the Account Number
• Account Number must to be linked with Active Debit Card
• Available for GSM mobile handsets (Except CDMA)
• Sufficient balance to send SMS
• The Mobile banking service should be enabled in your account. If
it is not enabled, visit your branch to register yourself for mobile
banking.

User can also request money from other user by entering his/her
Mobile No. or VPA address (Virtual Payment Address)

User can check balance by entering his/her UPI ID

• GST Number (Declaration regarding business turnover in last financial
year in case GST is not available.)
How to enrol for PoS:
• Fill PoS Application with required Documents and submit in nearby
branch
• Merchant receives PoS within 2-5 working days from sanctioned date
• Execute PoS agreement on enrolment.

• Debit, Credit and Prepaid Cards (VISA/MasterCard/RuPay) of any bank

Wireless PoS – ` 500 + GST
Merchant Discount Rate For Debit Cards:
• There is no transaction charges for transaction value upto ` 2000/-
• MDR charges for transaction value more than ` 2000/- is as following:
• 0.4% + GST (subject to maximum ` 200/-) for merchants having
turnover upto ` 20 lakhs during the previous financial year
• 0.9% + GST (subject to maximum ` 1000/-) for merchants having
turnover above ` 20 lakhs during the previous financial year
For Credit Cards:
• MDR charges are levied @1.75% + GST on the total transaction value.
CUSTOMER AWARENESS/SECURITY FEATURES
ON DIGITAL BANKING TRANSACTIONS
• Do not disclose your ATM Debit Card/Credit Card Number/
PIN/CVV/OTP to any person.
• Do not share your Internet Banking User Id/ Password/OTP.
• Do not keep Pin/Password along with the ATM Debit
Card/Credit Card – memorize it.
• Never respond to e-mail/sms/telephone calls seeking User
Id/Passwords/PIN/CVV/Card Numbers/Account Numbers
etc for any reasons like verification/ updation /renewal/
lotteries / gifts etc.
