Chapter 02: Company Summary

2.1 Company Background: As we are starting our Business in Attock, so our main office
will be in Fawara Chowk, Attock City. Attock is the District so we will give our services to
whole District Attock. We use this office for booking of an event, promotional purposes, and for
problem solving of our customers. This business is sole proprietorship, its means that I will be
the only owner of this business. Firstly we don’t have the big team for organizing a wedding
event because we will hire the labor from other businesses so that it will be helpful in getting our
business more profitable because these people will not be our permanent employees, they will be
hired when needed. If they are our permanent employees then we have to pay them even we
have an order of event or not. 1 person needed to handle the finance or sales/purchase of items
for specific event. We will provide the service according to the requirements of the customer.
The main focus of our business is to save the time of our customers because nowadays people
are busy in their own businesses, jobs and they do not have much time to arrange and handle
their weddings event. So we arrange their events for them to save their time and money. Their
money will also be saved because they have to give the cost to one person not to every individual
like sound system, lightning and decoration and catering.

2.2 Resources, Facilities and Equipment:

Resource: We’d like different types of resources to run our business like we’d like human
resource, tools and equipments using in several sorts of events, and that we also need legality for
our business.

 Human resource: First of all, we’d like consulted person in wedding event business that
knows this business. We’d like Manager for our company and his team members that
work under him. We’d like labor for fixing the venue for wedding events.

 Legality: Legality is an important role for any business that its legal formalities should
be completed that no one can hit your business and nobody can copy your business
legality. So we should always be legally registered.
 Building: Building and office is extremely important for any business. So office is
important resources needed by us. In start we take building on lease then make our own
building and office afterward.

Tools and Equipments: We also need the tools and equipment which will be utilized in
events like lighting tools, catering tools, sound equipments etc.

 Venue

2.3 Marketing Methods:. SHUMZ Wedding Planner will offer a superior service at a lower
cost due to specialization. By concentrating specific services in specifically, SHUMZ Wedding
Planner will become capable and perform the services better than other similar organization as
passage of time.

Marketing method of our business are as follows:


 Websites and Social media: We will make page on Facebook, Instagram etc. that will
be used for the promotional purpose. 79% audiences are used in social media that is the
reason I am using this social media app for our business. This is cost effective even it is
free of cost.
 YouTube Channel: We will make the YouTube channel for our business and they will
be attractive and effective marketing method for our business. We will make short ads
which will be showing in between the video like movies, songs, dramas, and in other
videos.
 Banners and Billboards: It is the effective method for our business. We will make the
small banners and large banners for billboards and place them where the people can
easily view them.

2.4 Management and Organization: I am the CEO and financial manager of this
business and at start we do not hire individuals but later on we will hire according to the
requirement of the wedding events. We will allocate their duties as given below:

 We will hire the labor when we need for wedding event and they will be our
commission-based employees.
 The duty of CEO will be to overlook the work in any event and if there is any
problem faced in our business that the CEO will be responsible for solving of that
issue in that wedding event.
 We will hire the cameraman for capturing of the wedding event and this will be one
of our services that we will capture their whole wedding event for them.

2.5 Ownership Structure:


I will own the business and some people will work under me but they will not be our permanent
employees. We will hire them when there is need means that when we have an order of wedding
event.

2.6 Internal Analysis:


We will identify our internal and external analysis with the help of SWOT analysis in which we
will discuss about our strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats.
