An action that is taking place NOW (in the moment of speaking)
Temporary actions
Currently changing and developing situations
Future – personal plans/ arrangements

is not = isn’t swim + ing = swimming (consoana”w” vocala scurta”i” consoana”m” – consoana finala se dubleaza)

You are = you’re skate - skating


He is = he’s run - running

it is = it’s get - getting

we are = we’re die – dying (ie → y + ing)
