Define the following Skin disorders and include images:

1. Atopic dermatitis- condition that makes your skin red and itchy. It's common in children but
can occur at any age. It’s long lasting (chronic) and tends to flare periodically. It may be
accompanied by asthma or hay fever.

2. Eczema- a condition wherein patches of skin become inflamed, itchy, cracked, and rough.
Some types can also cause blisters

3. Impetigo- a common and highly contagious skin infection that mainly affects infants and
children. Impetigo usually appears as red sores on the face, especially around a child's nose and
mouth, and on hands and feet. The sores burst and develop honey-colored crusts.

4. Chicken pox- an infectious disease causing a mild fever and a rash of itchy inflamed blisters.
It is caused by the herpes zoster virus and mainly affects children, who are afterward usually
immune.
5. Ringworm- a contagious itching skin disease occurring in small circular patches, caused by
any of a number of fungi and affecting chiefly the scalp or the feet. The most common form is
athlete's foot.

6. Psoriasis- a skin disease that causes red, itchy scaly patches, most commonly on the knees,
elbows, trunk and scalp. Psoriasis is a common, long-term (chronic) disease with no cure.

7. Shingles- an acute, painful inflammation of the nerve ganglia, with a skin eruption often
forming a girdle around the middle of the body. It is caused by the same virus as chickenpox.

8. Cellulitis- is a common, potentially serious bacterial skin infection. The affected skin appears
swollen and red and is typically painful and warm to the touch. Cellulitis usually affects the skin
on the lower legs, but it can occur in the face, arms and other areas.
9. Drug allergy- type of unpredictable reaction.

10. Scabies- a contagious skin disease marked by itching and small raised red spots, caused by
the itch mite.

11. Measles- an infectious viral disease causing fever and a red rash on the skin, typically
occurring in childhood.

12. Tick bite- A bite from a bloodsucking, parasitic insect that punctures the skin with a sharp
beak. The tic burrows into the skin with its head. Tick bites can carry serious illness, including
Rocky Mountain spotted fever, other forms of tick typhus, and Lyme disease.
