Introduction:
Some Hospital today use manual entry of data and uses papers to store
patient data, which raises the risk of data loss and also increases the
complexity for the hospitals to store large amount of records, also
there’s no accessibility for patient to access his records.
To solve such problems, we are creating the automated system
where less paper work is required and provides easy management of
everyday problems of hospitals with a user friendly graphics interface,
which anybody can learn easily.

Project Scope:
Hospitals are the most important and necessary parts in our society,
whilst keeping the best practices in offering quality treatment and
checkups, it is also necessary to manage everyday activities and
records/reports of patients, nurses and other staff members in the
hospital.
Since keeping all records in a registry is not a good practice for the
staff and providing medical slip to patients on a hand written piece of
paper which may be sometime unreadable by the medical store staff can
lead to more problems for the ecosystem of hospital.
Thus managing the hospital becomes a problem for the staff. To tackle
this issue of manual work system, we will create a software system that
will provide ease in storing data of patients, activities of the work staff,
easy in submitting lab reports, monthly revenue of the hospital, ease in
suggesting medics for the patient on a single click environment.
Following Module will be integrated in our software system.
MODULES:
 Patient Registration Module: will be used to input basic patient
data such as “Name, Age, Symptoms”.
 Information Desk Module: this module deals with patient
enquiries such as “Consultants Enquiry, Patient Enquiry, etc.”
 Cashier Module: will provide automatic posting of charges
according to the services the patient has had such as “bed charges,
medicines, food, lab tests etc.”
 Laboratory Information Module: will provide information about
tests and results of the test performed”
 Pharmacy Information Module: will provide information related
to drugs such as “Prices, Available Drugs, Alternative Drugs”.
 Patient Management Module: provides patient access to features
such as “Patient Access Dashboard, Billing Dashboard, Discharge
summary”.

USERS:
This Software System contains different users:
 Doctor: will be able to suggest drugs provided by the “Pharmacy
Information Module” and can view patient records such as
previous medications and lab reports.
 Patient: is provided with access to his lab-reports, medications
which is provided by the “Patient Management Module”.
 Lab Technician: uses our software system to submit/uploads
report of the test.
 Cashier: using “cashier module” can bill the patient while
discharging from hospital.
 Pharmacist: manages the drugs and reports the changes using the
“Pharmacy Information Module”, which helps the doctor in
suggesting drugs.
