Activity Intolerance Nursing Care Plan

The patient reported feeling weak. Their facial expression looked weak. They were diagnosed with activity intolerance due to a sedentary lifestyle as shown by their weakness. The nurse identified the patient's needs and provided rest periods between activities. They planned to progressively increase the patient's activity level as tolerated and provided positive feedback on progress to motivate the patient. After interventions, the patient was able to participate in activities and demonstrate behaviors to decrease activity intolerance.
