GTA 6 characters: Everyone we know about so far
There's still a lot to learn about who lies in Vice City.
Jason and Lucia are the stars of the show, but the greater Grand Theft Auto 6 character roster is shaping up to be a big one. The relationship between the Bonnie and Clyde duo seems complicated enough, and that only grows more complicated when you're trying to figure out who knows who and what roles they'll play, but that's where I come in. After combing through the trailers, extended Netflix reveal, and even a few leaks, here's everything you need to know about the GTA 6 character list.
August 29, 2026: It's been a busy few days for GTA 6 news, so our character list needed an overhaul. I've started reworking several bios, adding new characters, and updating screenshots as we pick apart new footage.
GTA 6 character list
Every GTA 6 character we've seen so far
Character bios on Rockstar's official site reveal the basics, like full names, relationships, and broader life details, but I'm taking a magnifying glass to any new screenshots or trailers for the full dossier. So far, Rockstar's official list of named characters includes:
- Lucia Caminos: One half of the protagonist duo
- Jason Duval: Lucia's partner, and our second protagonist
- Raul Batista: Seasoned bank robber with a relentless streak
- Brian Heder: Landlord and veteran drug smuggler
- Cal Hampton: Jason's buddy
- Boobie Ike: Business entrepreneur
- Dre'Quan Priest: Music mogul
- Real Dimez: Rap duo and social media sensations
Lucia Caminos
Lucia is one of two primary protagonists in GTA 6, and the first female lead in the series. The game starts with her release from prison, so as you can imagine, her life prior wasn't easy. Rockstar says she landed there while trying to provide for her family, while a case of "sheer luck" got her out.
Who knows how her new life of crime will play out, but she stabs a guy in the eye with her high heel in one clip, so I'm not too worried. She's definitely a force to be reckoned with.
Jason Duval
Jason is the second half of Grand Theft Auto 6's protagonist duo, and appears to be both Lucia's romantic and criminal partner.
His childhood was one enveloped in criminal activity, before joining the army in an attempt to shake off his sordid past. That didn't seem to work, though, as he's been busy working for drug runners in Vice City for an unknown amount of time.
As we see in the second trailer, he's the one who collects Lucia after she's released from prison, and it doesn't take the two long to get all smooshy with each other.
Whether their relationship precedes prison or started while she was in there is still a mystery, but the two do seem mighty comfortable in a way I'd expect a couple in a long-term relationship to be.
Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.
The two are also seen committing a string of crimes together, and supporting each other along the way.

Brian Heder
Brian is Jason's landlord, though the GTA 6 protagonist pays Mr. Heder through various criminal services and forgoes the whole check or money order thing. Rockstar describes him as "a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys," and Brian's wife, Lori, even talks up the 'retired' runner's younger years in the extended trailer.
Aside from the whole landlord thing, Brian clearly hasn't ended his questionable dealings in present-day Vice City. In that same extended trailer clip, he offers Lucia and Jason a shady job from a third party, but with the caveat that only one of them can take it.
Raul Batista
Raul Batista's official bio describes him as "a seasoned bank robber always on the hunt for talent," though his experience doesn't seem to equate with safety when it comes to his scores.
If anything, his bio says that he's becoming increasingly more reckless as time goes on, and I'm sure his hijinks will end up roping in Jason and Lucia somewhere along the way.
Cal Hampton
We don't know much about Cal right now, apart from the fact that he's friends with Jason and an associate of Brian Heder, another side character revealed in the second trailer.
It seems like he's closest to filling a role similar to GTA 5's Lester—snooping on comms where he shouldn't be and spending a little too much time in Incognito mode on the internet.
In the second trailer, he's seen at the bar with Lucia and Jason, and again towards the end touting a beer. He doesn't say much, but it definitely seems like he'll be taking on a more humorous role among the cast.
Boobie Ike
Boobie's one of Vice City's big players, though his official bio implies he was once a petty criminal himself... or maybe still is, if his quote is anything to go by: "The club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all."
He's managed to turn that around into a verifiable empire though with his fingers in plenty of pies: Real estate, recording studios and even a strip club to boot.
While his role in the story isn't fully known yet, we do know that he's linked to fellow side character Dre'Quan Priest. As a businessman, I presume he'll be crossing paths with Jason and Lucia fairly early on in the story.
Dre'Quan Priest
Dre'Quan is described in his official bio as "more of a hustler than a gangster," with his drug-dealing days mostly being to make ends meet while pursuing aspirations of breaking into the music scene.
It seems he's getting there, running his own label Only Raw Records and signing on double act Real Dimez and some investment from Boobie, whose strip club Dre'Quan has been booking gigs for.
There's still very little we know about Dre'Quan and what role he'll play in the main story, but we'll no doubt be treated to a host of side missions from him.
Real Dimez
Friends since high school, Roxy and Bae-Luxe serve as the two girls behind rap duo Real Dimez—with very handy necklaces sporting their names if you need to know who's who.
It seems the two sport a big presence on social media, but their music career has largely been relegated to a one-hit wonder with rapper DWNPLY, a character we currently know nothing about.
It's been five years since then, though, and they're now signed to Dre'Quan's Only Raw Records, hoping for another hit to come their way. Their official bio says the duo has "the savvy to turn their time shaking down local dealers into cold, hard cash via spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence."
We don't get to see Roxy in the second trailer, but we do get a glimpse of Bae-Luxe saying "brap, brap, brap."
More GTA 6 characters
Valentia
The first returning character. She originally debuted in GTA Online.
Petra Navarro
The COO of Megamundo who I suspect is involved in a little workplace romance with Andres.
Andres de Leon
He works with Petra at Megamundo, and hires Lucia and Jason as security detail.
Raymond
A dealer selling to Boobie Ike. He's betrayed by Ernesto in the Netflix trailer.
Ernesto
The mystery man who seemingly snitched on Raymond.
Stefani
Lucia's corrections counsellor, we've only seen her in the first trailer.
Buddy
Buddy may not be his name, but Jason calls him that. And yes, you can pet him.
Lori Heder
Brian's third wife. She helps him move drugs through their boat yard.

Andrea has been covering games for nearly a decade, picking up bylines at IGN, USA Today, Fanbyte, and Destructoid before joining the PC Gamer team in 2025. She's got a soft spot for older RPGs and is willing to try just about anything with a lovey-dovey "I can fix them" romance element. Her weekly to-do always includes a bit of MMO time, endlessly achievement hunting and raiding in Final Fantasy 14. Outside of those staples, she's often got a few survival-crafting games on rotation and loves a good scare in co-op horror games.
