What is Distorted Sound Magazine? Distorted Sound Magazine was formed in 2015 when founder, James Weaver, graduated from Staffordshire University with a degree in Music Journalism and Broadcasting. James wanted to create an alternative music publication that could make a difference in the rock and heavy metal world. Through our regularly updated website that brings fans the latest news, reviews and interviews with bands in the rock/metal scene and a digital monthly magazine, created to match the standard you can find on the shelves, we are building a fantastic and trusted reputation in the alternative and rock world. With our team of fellow editors, writers and photographers, we strive to bring the best the rock and metal world has to offer through dedicated and passionate music journalism. Why are we on Patreon? We've made massive waves in the industry since we've been operational. However, whilst we've achieved a lot, we feel by being on Patreon we offer an array of incentives and rewards for supporting our magazine and build a real connection with our audience.  So, what's in it for me?
