How it all started
Whilst working together in the audit and finance industry, Louw, Dana and Jacques realised that founder teams require more access to hands-on financial expertise and technology to help them navigate the complexities of scaling up.
In 2013, Louw and Dana founded Outsourced CFO to solve this problem in the marketplace. Since starting at the Bandwidth Barn’s incubator with only two desk spaces, the company has grown to well over 100 professionals who have served over 1,300 organizations.
The team has helped entrepreneurs in over 34 countries raise hundreds of millions in seed and growth finance.
The board members have been the closest of friends for well over a decade since meeting each other at Dagbreek as first year Stellenbosch students. Outsourced CFO is the embodiment of their passion and purpose in the fields of technology, finance and entrepreneurship. What an incredible journey it has been – and the best is yet to come.
