1. St. Anthony’s (1)

The Friars (12-4) wrapped up their season with a 13-12 win over Chaminade in the Class AAA state CHSAA championship game on May 13.

2. Chaminade (2)

Chaminade’s season is over, but as per tradition, the 2026 team voted for its 2027 captains this week. Hayden Sipress, Brendan Sim and Sam Fox will captain Chaminade (13-5) in 2027.

3. Garden City (3)

Top-seeded Garden City (16-1) is one step closer to a county title after a dominant 17-4 win over No. 8 Calhoun in a Nassau Class B quarterfinal. It’s the Trojans’ 13th win by at least six goals. No. 4 Roslyn is up next at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hofstra.

4. Syosset (4)

Brody Waxer earned his 300th career point with a seven-point performance in an 18-3 win over No. 8 Hicksville in a Nassau Class A quarterfinal. Top-seeded Syosset (15-2) takes on No. 4 Farmingdale at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hofstra. Waxer scored the overtime winner in a 10-9 regular-season victory against Farmingdale. Expect a good one.

5. Massapequa (5)

No. 2 Massapequa (14-3) handled No. 7 Herricks, 24-8, as Nolan Wieczorek, Rocco Spallina and Tyler Byrnes all had at least six points. No. 3 Port Washington will meet them in the Nassau Class A semifinals at Hofstra at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

6. Wantagh (6)

One of Long Island’s best offenses kept rolling in a 24-3 win for top-seeded Wantagh (13-3) against No. 8 Island Trees in Nassau’s Class C quarterfinal round. It’s the 10th time Wantagh has recorded at least 15 goals, and the defending county champions will look for their 11th against No. 5 North Shore at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hofstra.

7. Cold Spring Harbor (7)

No. 1 Cold Spring Harbor (13-6) did not play this week. The Seahawks will suit up next at Hofstra for their Nassau Class D semifinal against No. 4 Oyster Bay at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

8. Northport (8)

Top-seeded Northport (15-2) bested No. 8 Floyd, 19-5, in Suffolk’s Class A quarterfinal. The Tigers must be thrilled to match up with No. 4 Half Hollow Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday after Hills beat Northport in the 2024 and 2025 county finals. Get the popcorn ready.

9. Manhasset (9)

Conor Sheerin cruised to a six-point day as No. 2 Manhasset beat No. 7 Carey, 16-9, in the Nassau Class B quarterfinal round. No. 3 Bethpage will join the Set (13-4) at Hofstra at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

10. South Side (10)

The Cyclones are now one win away from their third consecutive county final berth, with this one in Class C. No. 2 South Side (11-6) beat No. 7 Floral Park, 14-7, and will face No. 3 Seaford in the semifinal in a rematch of their regular-season finale, when South Side won, 13-11.
