I was there and it was extraordinary. I had never heard such a set in my life. When he mixed out of MacArthur Park into Beat of the Night I thought I was going to pass out from sheer shock. I had chills all over. I had NEVER heard that kind of talent behind a turntable. I can still remember that night like it was yesterday. Michael's set was also extraordinary, but this set edged it out and gets my vote for best one of the Last Party. It's still mind-blowing.
This is definitely from the Saint's Last Party in 1988. I was there and remember this set vividly including the interlude from Now Voyager. Not only that, I still have cassette versions that we purchased after the party. It was a brilliant set and perhaps the best I've ever heard. It's truly legendary. He was a master behind the turntables. R.I.P.
Hello, this is from the closing night, I know b/c I was there. How can you forgot the "Now Voyager" interlude. It was breathtaking. Thank you for your time.
