Anyone who stays in Faridabad knows how much Mathura Road traffic can spoil the whole day. Since the time Violet Line came to Faridabad, things have become slightly better, and NHPC Chowk Metro Station is one of the main reasons for that. Earlier people living around Sector 32 and DLF Industrial Area had no option but to take those overcrowded shared autos and buses, now at least they have a fixed and AC option.

Honestly, if you talk to people who live in Ashoka Enclave or Greenfields, most of them will say their daily office travel to Delhi became manageable only after this station started.
