🌊 Voices on Financing Africa’s Safe and Sustainable Ocean Economy I’m very happy to share this new video capturing some of the key messages from our 4 hour workshop, “Unlocking Investment in Africa’s Safe & Sustainable Ocean Economy,” held during the Business and Investment Forum of the Our Ocean Conference 2026 in Mombasa, Kenya. It brings together important reflections from our discussions on how we can better connect safety, sustainability and finance, mobilise investment, and strengthen collaboration between governments, financial institutions, businesses and other actors to turn opportunities into action. The video offers a glimpse into the richness of the conversations. By the end of September, we will also publish a brief report capturing the main topics, insights and pathways discussed throughout the workshop.
