HELM AG: Partnerships for impact

#COP27 is over, see here how The Economist covered our engagement in the #Vision2045 summit.

As global challenges continue to rise, solutions are gaining momentum too. Partnerships are central to HELM AG 's DNA, helping it to achieve progress on mutual reliability, fairness and trust.

HELM AG is a family-owned international marketing and distribution company active in four business segments: chemical products, fertilisers, crop protection products and pharmaceuticals. It also offers services in areas such as logistics and project development.

As food insecurity increases and fossil fuel depletion continues, HELM AG's most recent initiatives involve sustainable agriculture and scaling up production of eco-friendly fuels.

Digital agriculture is instrumental in reducing hunger and improving the sustainable use of precious natural resources under ever-changing conditions. Resilience against climate-induced loss and damage is a further benefit. Climate, soil, crop health and nutrient availability need to be better understood to reduce unnecessary effort and input of material.

HELM AG is working with partners to develop a biological products platform, improving soil quality and boosting plant yields. As food supply is vulnerable and new methods of agriculture are imperative, HELM AG is committed to contributing to safe, healthy and sustainable yield management.

"Companies definitely have a social and environmental responsibility," explains Stephan Schnabel , CEO of HELM AG. "One key element throughout our history are our long-term partnerships. And if we accelerate this also into the future, I think we will have a very positive impact on society."

"Partnerships play a super-important role because I think we can contribute significantly, but we cannot do it alone."

Stephan Schnabel, CEO, HELM AG
