If time is the biggest barrier standing between most professionals and their CPD, microlearning could be part of the answer. ⏳📖 CPD credits are typically calculated per hour of structured learning, meaning a well-designed short session contributes proportionally rather than being overlooked. Used well, microlearning complements longer-form training but it isn't a substitute for it, particularly where a subject demands sustained, structured study. But it all adds up! What's your biggest CPD barrier? Let us know below. 👇 #CPD #ProfessionalDevelopment #Microlearning #LifelongLearning #CPDAccredited

Knowing which is which means you can build a CPD record that reflects the full picture of your growth, not just the parts with a certificate attached. 📚➡️🎯 Evolution in Education: From Learning to Proficiency As an educator, I believe learning reaches its true purpose when knowledge is transformed into real-world capability. Traditional learning models have provided strong academic foundations for generations. As the demands of education and the workplace continue to evolve, I am evolving my teaching approach from a Regular Learning Method (RLM) mindset toward a Proficient Learning Method (PLM) framework. Key shifts: ✅ From fixed curricula to adaptive learning pathways ✅ From certification-focused outcomes to career readiness ✅ From theoretical understanding to practical application ✅ From knowledge acquisition to demonstrated competence My goal is not to move away from foundational learning, but to build upon it, helping learners become confident, capable, and future-ready professionals. #HigherEducation #PLM #CompetencyBasedLearning #SkillDevelopment #Education

📚 A CERTIFICATE CAN OPEN THE DOOR, BUT KNOWLEDGE KEEPS YOU IN THE ROOM Education should not end the day you graduate. The world keeps changing. New technologies emerge, industries evolve, and skills that were valuable yesterday may become less important tomorrow. That is why learning must become a lifelong habit. Read books. Learn digital skills. Attend training. Ask questions. Learn from experienced people. And most importantly, learn how to apply what you know. Your certificate proves that you completed a course of study. Your competence proves that you actually learned something. Never stop learning. 🎓📖 #Education #Knowledge #PersonalDevelopment #Learning

Most of us develop ways of learning that suit us. That could be writing things down, talking ideas through or visualising key information. Students are no different. The best support starts with the individual, not the tech. Personalised training identifies the strategies and approach that work for them. And when students find their preferred way of learning, they get more from support, empowering them to study confidently and independently. #ATTraining #StudentSupport #DSA #DisabledStudents #HigherEducation

🎓 OBE MASTERCLASS – DAY 6 CO–PO & PSO Mapping Connecting Course Learning with Programme Outcomes In Outcome-Based Education, a course does not work in isolation. Every Course Outcome (CO) should contribute to the achievement of broader Program Outcomes (POs) and Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs). 🔹 What is CO–PO Mapping? CO–PO Mapping identifies how much each Course Outcome contributes to the achievement of each Program Outcome. It helps answer: 👉 “How does this course contribute to developing the graduate competencies expected from the programme?” 📌 Simple Example For a Computer Applications programme: CO: “Analyze different database management techniques.” This CO may contribute to: 🎯 PO – Problem Analysis 🎯 PO – Modern Tool Usage 🎯 PSO – Database & Application Development Thus: CO → PO/PSO → Graduate Competency 📊 Typical Mapping Scale Many OBE implementations use a 3-point correlation scale: 1 – Low Contribution 2 – Moderate Contribution 3 – High Contribution A blank or zero may indicate no significant contribution, depending on the institution's approved methodology. 🌟 Why CO–PO Mapping Matters ✅ Ensures curriculum alignment ✅ Shows the contribution of each course ✅ Supports attainment calculation ✅ Helps identify curriculum gaps ✅ Strengthens evidence-based academic improvement ✅ Supports accreditation and quality assurance processes 🔄 The OBE Alignment Chain Course Outcomes (COs) ⬇️ POs & PSOs ⬇️ Assessment ⬇️ Attainment Analysis ⬇️ Continuous Improvement 💡 Key Takeaway «COs define what students achieve in a course. POs and PSOs define what graduates should achieve through the programme.» Effective CO–PO–PSO mapping connects classroom learning with programme-level competencies. 🎯 Good Mapping = Better Alignment = Meaningful Outcomes 🚀 Coming Next – Day 7: Assessment in OBE – Direct & Indirect Methods #OBE #OBEMasterclass #OutcomeBasedEducation #CourseOutcomes #ProgramOutcomes #PSO #COPOmapping #HigherEducation #AcademicExcellence #Assessment #FacultyDevelopment #NBA #NAAC #NEP2020 #QualityEducation

Our new ACCM College website is now live. This is much more than a fresh new look — it reflects what we are really focused on: making training accessible, supportive and easier to navigate for students and employers. One of the most important things is that online learning should never mean feeling like you are learning alone. Our team is committed to providing proactive support, timely feedback and being there for our students throughout their training journey. It is also great to have a website that makes it easier for employers to explore how ACCM can support their workforce development and traineeship needs. A fantastic effort by everyone involved in bringing the new site together. Have a look for yourself: ACCM College #ACCM #VET #VocationalEducation #OnlineLearning #StudentSupport #EmployerSupport #Traineeships #SkillsForTheFuture

Take a look and see for yourself. accm.edu.au RTO ID:1441 #ACCM #NewWebsite #VocationalEducation #VET #OnlineLearning #StudentSupport #EmployerSupport #SkillsForTheFuture
