Sonnedix closes another major financing, accelerating renewable development across our core markets! We have successfully closed a €730 million financing to support assets across France, Italy, Portugal and Spain. We are pleased to have advised Mexens ex.Technique Solaire in securing a €288 million financing package, a key milestone in the company's multi-energy growth strategy. The financing will support the construction of a 244 MW wind & PV portfolio spread across France and Spain, to accelerate the deployment of low-carbon infrastructure and strengthening energy security. Earlier today, our team shared that Maia Capital Partners announced they're backing Nesa Power with R150 million in mezzanine debt funding.   Sounds amazing, but what does it mean?   For over a decade, Nesa Power has funded and built solar + storage assets for South African businesses under long-term PPAs. We did this through multiple capital raises from investors over many years.   The Maia Capital transaction changes that and gives us a stable platform from which we can focus on bringing more affordable, stable energy to South African businesses.   How it changes the game 🔹 We can bring more renewable and storage assets from our managed funds onto our own balance sheet, better aligning our goals with our customers by having ‘skin in the game’.
