Virginia Sendel and her team from the Michou y Mau Foundation visited Shriners Children's Texas, where they toured the new patient family housing facility and met Victor, a patient from Mexico whose family received assistance through the organization. Virginia's commitment to helping children with burn injuries stems from a deeply personal tragedy that inspired her to found the Fundación Michou y Mau IAP. Since then, the organization has helped more than 2,000 children access specialized burn care, many at Shriners Children's Texas, while also advancing burn prevention education throughout Mexico. Shriners Children’s Texas is grateful for Virginia's continued partnership and the lasting impact she and her team have made on children and families in need. 💛
