📊 Figure of the month 97% of project professionals managed at least one complex project over the past year, with more than half classifying them as significantly complex. That is what Project Management Institute found in its Pulse of the Profession 2026 report, and the numbers reflect a structural shift in how industrial organizations operate today. Technological change, expanding stakeholder networks and regulatory pressure are making projects more interconnected and less predictable. 31% of complex projects fail to deliver their originally intended benefits. Teams that manage complexity effectively are five times more likely to achieve their project goals.
