Scientific excellence grows stronger when we learn together. Recently, our CMC R&D leaders came together in Hyderabad for a day of discussion, reflection, and alignment around the principles that shape how we work—Ownership, Collaboration, and Continuous Learning. Our conversations centered on advancing scientific excellence across the work we do with a strong emphasis on deepening process understanding. We covered topics around reaction mechanism, impurity control, reaction quench, work-up and scale-up to plant - integrating thoughts from colleagues across chemistry, analytical science and engineering disciplines. We also explored how data rich experimentation and science-led risk assessment help translate laboratory insights into robust manufacturing processes and how open access analytical methodologies can accelerate and enhance our scientific decision-making. These conversations are an important part of our ongoing journey to build on our scientific strengths, continuously enhance the way we work, and deliver greater value for our customers.
