🎮 One week to go until our NextGen Gaming: gamescom Ambassador Trip! Next week, we are excited to bring a delegation of 15 participants from academia, startups, game studios, and business to gamescom 2026 in Cologne to strengthen transatlantic collaboration across gaming, esports, and the broader digital economy. Our program highlights include: 🎯 Exclusive behind-the-scenes access to gamescom including guided tours of both gamescom and gamescom dev, offering unique insights into one of the world’s leading gaming events. 🤝 High-level networking opportunities with key industry stakeholders through events including the International Delegations Reception, the International Games Industry Party, and the official reception hosted by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs (Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Digitales). 🎓 Exploring Germany’s gaming and innovation ecosystem through visits to the Cologne Game Lab and exchanges with leading universities, game developers, students, startups, and international industry representatives. 🌍 Transatlantic knowledge exchange featuring our panel discussion “Crossing the Atlantic – Game Development & STEM in the USA”, supported by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, highlighting how gaming can drive innovation, education, talent development, and international collaboration. We are especially honored to have been invited by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs to attend the German Computer Game Awards (Deutscher Computerspielpreis) earlier this year. The event showcased the outstanding creativity, innovation, and economic potential of Germany’s gaming sector and further demonstrated the importance of strengthening transatlantic partnerships in this dynamic industry.
