In an era where technology is reshaping every classroom, the Faculty Development Program conducted by Edunet Foundation in collaboration with IBM SkillsBuild brought together two seemingly different worlds, Artificial Intelligence and Soft Skills, to explore how they truly complement each other in modern education. This insightful session made the B.Ed. scholars of LLDIMS aware on how AI tools can enhance teaching methods, personalize learning, and simplify administrative tasks, while also understanding that no algorithm can replace the human touch of empathy, communication, and emotional intelligence that defines a great teacher. The session emphasized that tomorrow's educators must be equally comfortable navigating digital tools as they are connecting with their students on a human level. Because in the end, technology can support teaching, but it's soft skills that make learning truly meaningful. The transition to 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟵 is one of the most important milestones in a student's academic journey. As subjects become more concept-driven and assessments demand deeper understanding, success depends less on studying longer and more on 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘀. Based on what we've observed in K–12 learning, students who consistently perform well tend to develop a few core habits early: ✔ Study consistently instead of cramming before exams ✔ Focus on understanding concepts rather than memorizing answers ✔ Attempt questions independently before checking solutions ✔ Revise regularly to strengthen long-term retention ✔ Use AI as a learning companion, not a shortcut These habits don't just improve exam performance; they help students become more confident and independent learners. At MeraTutor.AI, we believe technology should support meaningful learning, not replace it. TEACHERS, WHEN DID YOU LAST LEARN SOMETHING NEW? We tell our students: 👉 “Keep learning.” 👉 “Upgrade your skills.” 👉 “Adapt to change.” But are we, as teachers, doing the same? The world of education is changing faster than ever. AI, digital learning, new pedagogy, research tools, global courses and innovative teaching methods are transforming the way knowledge is created and shared. Today, a teacher can learn from SWAYAM, NPTEL, DIKSHA, FDPs, research programmes, international platforms and AI-powered tools—often without leaving home. But the real question is: ❓ Are we learning because we have to… or because we want to become better teachers? A better teacher doesn't just collect certificates. A better teacher: 📚 keeps updating knowledge 💡 experiments with new teaching methods 🤖 learns to use AI responsibly 🔬 strengthens research skills 🌍 learns beyond the boundaries of the classroom 🚀 prepares for the future Because when teachers grow, students grow. And when teachers stop learning, education stops evolving. 💭 So, here is the question for every teacher reading this: What is ONE skill you want to learn or upgrade in 2026? Drop your answer in the comments. 👇 You might inspire another teacher to start their learning journey too. The Classroom Has No Walls Anymore. ____________________________________________________ For generations, a classroom meant four walls, a teacher, a blackboard and students sitting together. Today, learning can happen anywhere. A laptop at 11 PM. A smartphone during a commute. A live lecture on a Sunday morning. A recorded session revisited after work. The classroom has no walls anymore. But online education isn't simply about putting a traditional classroom on a screen. It is about creating the freedom to learn around your life and career. For a working professional, this can mean something even more powerful. You learn about marketing today—and apply it to your business tomorrow. You study leadership—and experience its challenges at work the very next day. You learn finance—and suddenly understand a business decision you are part of. That is when education becomes more than a degree. It becomes part of your career. And now AI is adding another dimension to learning—helping students explore concepts, ask questions, receive instant assistance and learn at a more personalised pace. But technology doesn't replace teachers. It changes what teachers can do. When information is available everywhere, the real value of education increasingly lies in how we think, question, connect and apply what we learn. The future of education isn't simply online vs. offline. It is about making learning more accessible, flexible, relevant and connected to real life. The campus will remain. The classroom will remain. But the learner no longer has to wait inside either one to learn. The classroom has no walls anymore. And perhaps, that's one of the most exciting changes happening in education today. #OnlineEducation #FutureOfEducation #DigitalLearning #OnlineMBA #CareerGrowth #AIinEducation #LifelongLearning #HigherEducation #FutureOfWork #DSUOnline

L2L MicroCred – 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘓2𝘓– From Project Results to Regional Impact 1️⃣ 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 The Universitetet i Innlandet ( 🇳🇴 Norway) developed and piloted the micro-credential 𝘋𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘛𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 to strengthen digital confidence and practical AI skills among adult learners. 🔶 A regional needs assessment and dialogue with stakeholders shaped the course from the outset. Learners’ previous experiences, learning preferences, self-efficacy, and support needs were translated into concrete design choices. Simple language, practical activities, real-life examples, flexible participation, and peer learning all contributed to creating a safe and accessible environment that encouraged confidence and active participation. Optional face-to-face workshops complemented online learning. 🎯 The pilot confirmed the value of low-threshold, practice-oriented learning opportunities for adults with diverse backgrounds and learning needs. Participants particularly appreciated the relevance of the content, the hands-on exercises, and the opportunity to explore digital tools in a supportive setting. 🪧 The experience also demonstrated how learner-centred design, informed by regional needs and stakeholder input, can help make flexible learning opportunities more accessible, engaging, and relevant for adult learners. #L2LMicrocred #Microcredentials #DigitalSkills #ArtificialIntelligence #AdultLearning #LifelongLearning https://lnkd.in/ec-mX8U4

Most education systems are preparing students for yesterday’s world. But the students entering classrooms today will live and work in a world we cannot fully predict. So the question is not: "How much content can we teach?" The real question is: "What capabilities will students need to thrive in 2030 and beyond?" A future-ready curriculum cannot be built by simply adding more chapters, more exams, or more technology. It requires a fundamental shift: 📌 From content coverage → competency development 📌 From memorization → critical thinking 📌 From teacher as information provider → teacher as learning architect 📌 From standardized learning → personalized pathways 📌 From exam preparation → real-world problem solving A powerful curriculum of the future should develop learners who can: 🌱 Think critically 💡 Create innovative solutions 🤖 Collaborate with AI responsibly 🌍 Solve complex global challenges 🔄 Learn, unlearn, and relearn continuously The 8 pillars of a future-ready curriculum include: 1️⃣ Defining the future graduate 2️⃣ Moving from content to competencies 3️⃣ Integrating AI and digital literacy 4️⃣ Transforming learning experiences 5️⃣ Redesigning assessment 6️⃣ Designing for every learner 7️⃣ Connecting subjects with real-world problems 8️⃣ Building a culture of continuous improvement The best curriculum is not the one that covers the most information. It is the one that develops the strongest thinkers. As educators, curriculum designers, and learning innovators, we have a responsibility: We are not just preparing students for the future. We are designing the future through education. I would love to hear your perspective: What is the ONE skill every student must develop to succeed in the next decade? #CurriculumDesign #FutureOfEducation #Education2030 #AIinEducation #STEMEducation #LearningExperienceDesign #InstructionalDesign #EducationalInnovation #21stCenturySkills #TeachersAsDesigners,
