Dorsal Gold’s Post

Proposition: Atlantic Canada #Epithermal #Gold #Silver Exploration Package Executive Summary: Atlantic Canada hosts one of the world's most significant—yet underexplored—Neoproterozoic epithermal gold corridors. This package offers a strategic entry into the Avalon Zone, a 3,000 km paleo-magmatic arc that shares a genetic blueprint with the high-output districts of the Pacific Rim and the Carolina Slate Belt. With Valentine Gold achieving its first pour in late 2025 and record gold prices exceeding $3,800/oz this year, the region has transitioned from a frontier play to a top-tier production hub. The Neoproterozoic Avalon BeltThe Avalon Belt is the northern continuation of the Carolina Slate Belt (USA). Strategic Insight: The Haile Mine (OceanaGold) demonstrates the potential of the Avalon; it was historically a small producer until deep drilling revealed massive, disseminated mineralization. Projects like Hickey's Pond and Big Easy exhibit the same surface "lithocap" signatures as Haile, suggesting the bulk of the gold remains untested at depth. Advantage: Unlike remote Northern Canadian plays, these projects are road-accessible, near deep-water ports, and connected to the provincial power grids. Production De-Risking: The first gold pour at Valentine Gold (Sept 14, 2025) and the advancement of Hope Brook to the PEA stage provide a clear pathway from exploration to cash flow. New Geological Models: The discovery of Shot Rock in Nova Scotia has opened an entirely new search space for low-sulphidation systems. Dorsal Gold a Solterra Project. jburke@solterraco.ca
