PPC has entered into the Polish energy market though an agreement to acquire a portfolio of wind and solar projects with a total capacity of 277 MW. This follows the announcement that the company also recently expanded into the Hungarian energy market, creating a diversified green energy platform stretching from Greece to Central and South-Eastern Europe. PPC has been a Strategic Opportunities portfolio company since 2021 and also received additional investment from CVC’s Europe / Americas strategy this year.
PPC Group enters the Polish energy market in a move that marks another significant milestone in our expansion strategy across Central and Southeastern Europe. By acquiring a diversified renewable energy portfolio with a total capacity of 277.3 MW, we are strengthening our position as a leading clean energy group in the wider region. The portfolio includes operational wind and solar parks, as well as innovative solar projects under development that will utilize "cable pooling" technology to optimize grid usage. Our entry into Poland, one of Europe’s most dynamic clean energy markets, is a key part of our 2026-2030 strategic plan. We aim to nearly double our installed capacity by investing in critical energy infrastructure that ensures regional stability and creates long-term value.
