Following a record year achieved through its partnership with Moroccan operator CCCM, Rhenus plans to strengthen connections with key European markets, including France, Spain, Italy, and Turkey. This expansion reflects Morocco’s growing role as a strategic logistics gateway linking Europe and Africa, supported by world-class infrastructure, strong industrial growth, and major trade hubs such as Tanger Med. What is particularly noteworthy is that the interest of multinational logistics providers is no longer limited to international freight flows. Morocco’s domestic freight market is also attracting growing attention as manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, and distribution activities continue to expand across the country. At the same time, it is important to remember that domestic road transport operations in Morocco are governed by cabotage regulations. National freight transport activities remain subject to specific legal requirements designed to regulate market access and ensure fair competition within the sector. As more global logistics players strengthen their presence in Morocco, the challenge will be to balance foreign investment, market competitiveness, and the development of local transport operators. Morocco’s logistics sector is entering a new phase of growth, creating opportunities for both international and domestic stakeholders across the supply chain. #CloudFret #Rhenus #RhenusLogistics #CCCM #Logistics #Transportation #SupplyChain #Freight #Morocco #Europe #ImportExport #FreightForwarding #InternationalTrade #TangerMed #FreightTech #BourseDeFret
