From “Can off-grid DC fast charging really work?” to “How quickly can we deploy it?”
EV Charging Summit & Expo recently sat down with Coral Charge CEO Burak Elibol and me to discuss our progress, what we learned from EVCS 2026, and where we’re headed next.
We covered one of the biggest constraints facing EV charging today: access to power. Coral Charge’s utility-free, solar-powered, battery-backed approach allows us to move beyond traditional grid limitations and deploy DC fast charging infrastructure on a fundamentally different timeline.
Just as importantly, our presence at EVCS helped turn visibility into meaningful momentum—expanding our channel partner network, strengthening industry relationships, and advancing active opportunities with cities and other prospective customers.
A few years ago, many questioned whether an off-grid DC fast charging network could be built. Today, we have chargers operating, more projects moving forward, and a growing number of partners helping us scale.
Thank you to the EV Charging Summit & Expo team, Semen Kurt and Evie Kim Sing for featuring our story.
And stay tuned—we’re already looking ahead to EVCS 2027!

Slow grid interconnects and utility delays can stall EV charging rollouts for months. Coral Charge is changing the game with next-generation, utility-free, off-grid DC fast charging (DCFC) powered by solar.
Their drop-in charging infrastructure bypasses traditional grid constraints, cutting installation timelines down to weeks.
Co-Founder and CEO Burak Elibol, and Head of Sales/Revenue Levent C., spoke with EVCS Editor Evie Kim Sing to reflect on their participation at EVCS, and how increased visibility and focused networking helped to propel their growth journey and source new leads.
Taking centre stage in Las Vegas helped Coral Charge expand its channel partner network, build key industry alliances and convert conversations with city leadership into active pipelines.

Congratulations on the progress over the past year. Community batteries and VPPs are becoming an important part of building a more flexible and resilient electricity system. It will be exciting to see how these models continue to evolve alongside commercial and industrial battery storage to unlock even greater value for customers and the network.
