Growing up, I struggled to answer that question “what do you want to be in the future?” Looking back now, I think it had something to do with me not meeting enough people to show me what was possible. I don’t want our teenagers to grow up with the same limited view I had. So guess what we did? This holiday, we invited someone really special to come spend an hour with our 13-17 year olds. Michael Lee has worked as a software engineer at Microsoft, Google, and now Meta. He’ll be sharing with our teenagers how he actually got there — what he studied, how he stood out in rooms full of talented people, and what he’d do differently if he were starting today.
