Amyn Somani’s Post

What an energizing Summer 2026 Demo Day — it was wonderful to see everyone come together to share, learn, and celebrate entrepreneurship! Our multi-disciplinary students of #BUS238 (Introduction to Entrepreneurship & Innovation) did a remarkable job of showcasing their business proposals to solve real-world problems ranging from health care system wait times, transportation challenges, student housing, excessive energy usage, food container sustainability and synthetic athletic wear. Thank you to our judges & mentors for sharing their time and expertise with the students, providing valuable guidance, questions and feedback: Brad Chand, Emily Heath, Nasir Tighsazzadeh, Pankaj (Peter) Bagga, Shantanu Mehta, Sarah Lubik, Tanvir A., Thomas Bohné and Thomas Partridge, PMP. We also had five of our #MBA students who excelled in #BUS714 come back to help this next cohort of undergraduate students. Thank you Samiksha Mittal, Razzaq Onotu, CBAP®, Rhea S., Sheetal Chand, Mingcong Yuan! It was a wonderful example of what happens when education and the business community come together to create meaningful learning experiences.
