Max Stier’s Post

More than 2 million public servants power our government, working every day in cities and towns across the nation to serve their country and their communities. Whether it's making groundbreaking strides in science and medicine, defending American interests at home and around the world, delivering better services to the public or caring for the people and places who need it most, federal employees are there to serve the public interest. They are essential to our democracy. As federal workers have faced unprecedented adversity over the past year and a half and had their work upended by dramatic changes to the civil service, the Partnership for Public Service has stepped up to support and defend public servants. Our health, safety and prosperity depend on their ability to show up for us—and that is why we will always show up for them. I am proud to be included in MacArthur Foundation's lineup of nonprofit leaders who are supporting federal workers, alongside Karen F. Lee of FedsForward and Isabella Ulloa of the Foundation for Public Service. And I am grateful to the MacArthur Foundation for their commitment to protect democracy and their support of our work. https://lnkd.in/etAENpKu
