PHP Full Stack Developer

Hybrid role in Newport News, VA

We're seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and enhance customer-facing digital applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing modern web applications, integrating third-party SDKs, and delivering seamless user experiences across the full stack.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain customer-facing web applications using PHP (Laravel/Symfony preferred) and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Build and consume REST APIs while integrating third-party SDKs into web-based user interfaces
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of full stack software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or similar)
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs into customer-facing web applications
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SQL, Git, and modern development practices
• Experience building scalable digital products and collaborating across cross-functional teams

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM field
• Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
