Jr. Financial Analyst

Our client, a global entertainment company, is looking for a Jr. Financial Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment!

Role Overview:

• Contract Role: 6 months, possibly extension but not guaranteed
• Pay: $34-37/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
• Schedule: Standard 40-hour work week, M-F 9AM to 6PM with an hour of unpaid lunch
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Track, analyze, and report on financial data to support business planning and decision making
• Analyze SG&A and Marketing costs and help with KPI metrics reporting
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and proper coding
• Verify aging balances are accurate and vendors are paid timely
• Maintain data integrity within financial systems
• Assist with monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning
• Provide month-end close support (journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations)
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration
• 1+ years of accounting or FP&A experience is required
• Prior experience working in the media or entertainment industry is a plus
• Experience utilizing the Google Workspace suite (Sheets & Slides)
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba or Oracle Fusion is preferred
• Experience utilizing AI (Claude) is preferred
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
