HYBRID ROLE – Assistant Corporate Controller

Responsibilities:

• Manage or assist with the timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles.
• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of the firm’s balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Design and implement new policies, controls, and workflows
• Drive automation/AI adoption in reconciliations, reporting, and consolidation
• Support M&A diligence and lead post-close integration
• Oversee the billing and collections processes to drive down Days Sales Outstanding and speed up cash collection
• Direct operational accounting activities including oversight of AP and Payroll functions
• Build and update short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to project daily, weekly, and monthly liquidity needs
• Build and mentor a growing accounting team, instilling accountability and high performance
• Support internal controls, SOX compliance, and ongoing process improvements
• Work closely with cross-functional leads to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience supporting publicly traded companies
• CPA required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and SEC reporting requirements
• Experience with M&A integration, working capital, and cash flow analysis
