Wang Architects is an award-winning architecture and master planning firm serving the Austin area. We are a full-service practice fueled by creative, curious, and passionate individuals. At our firm, designers investigate how we as architects can bring big ideas to life, bridging theory and practice.

Our work spans a diverse range of scales and building types, from civic and institutional projects to residential work. With offices in Austin and Georgetown, our team works across both locations to serve our various clients.

As an Architectural Designer, you will have the opportunity to contribute across all phases of architectural practice, from Schematic Design through Construction Administration. You may also contribute to the development of our firm’s social media presence and participate in the production of our podcast, Designing Austin, which features conversations with other leading architects and academics shaping the built environment in Central Texas.

Wang Architects is seeking a focused, curious, and driven Architectural Designer with 1–5 years of professional experience. We are looking for someone who is excited about design, takes initiative, and wants to be deeply engaged in the work, not simply one small piece of it. We believe that buildings, like people, are uniquely and individually made. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver and independent thinker who enjoys variety and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. In our office, everyone plays an important role, and there’s always something interesting happening. The lucky part? You’ll never be bored.

Requirements

• Professional Degree in Architecture, B.Arch or M.Arch
• Strong ability in design, problem solving, communication, self-motivated
• Proficiency in Autocad, Rhino, TM, Revit, and Adobe CC
