AR Manager

What You'll Do:

We are seeking an AR Manager to lead a team of Collectors who professionally work with customers to identify and resolve any issues preventing payment, achieve/exceed established DSO, past dues, and bad debt goals.

Responsibilities

• People management (coaching, staff meetings, reviewing/approving time off requests and/or time sheets, etc.
• Reviewing accounts & AR Rep Portfolios, Reporting, Analysis
• Mentoring/training team members, answering questions and issue resolution from team member
• Collaborating with sister organizations (Billing, Accounting, A/P, etc.
• Administrative functions (portfolio assignments, KPI compilation, distribution of Aging files, etc.
• Manage Collections staff; drive excellent financial performance
• Manage department through changes that may occur
• Work with staff on account prioritization and write-offs
• Review and manage performance goals with team member
• Conduct regular evaluations of performance and evaluate against KPIs

What You Will Need to be Successfully

• 7+ years Credit and collections management experience in a high volume, growing organization, with a national customer base - staff of 5 or more
• Demonstrated ability to lead a high performing team with customer centric focus
• Large package accounting system experience, Oracle preferred
• Extensive experience with collections management systems, receivables, reconciliations and cash application
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to coordinate with other internal teams to deliver seamless service to customers
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
