Yesterday, True Anomaly CEO and co-founder Even Rogers spent time with the Payload team talking about recent missions and defense-industry firsts, fundraising, growth, the future of True Anomaly, and the importance of protecting the space domain. Space is the invisible infrastructure critical to daily life on earth. Protecting it is one of the defining challenges of our time. Thanks to Mo Islam and Jack Kuhr for spreading the message.
Even Rogers, CEO of True Anomaly joined our LIVE SHOW from the NYSE. The company recently raised $650 million at a $2.2B valuation led by Eclipse & Riot Ventures. "Over the last 25 years in particular, the United States has left that [space] domain largely undefended. And now we're playing catch-up because our adversaries spent the first part of this century building the weapon systems that are designed to prevent the US from exploiting space. What we've convinced the capital markets of is that we're at the beginning of a space defense super cycle and there is going to be a company built for space superiority that can sustain a very big business." We discuss: – Why True Anomaly exists – The Victus Haze mission, a first for tactically responsive orbital pursuit – The fundraise and scaling from 220 people to a thousand by next year – What space warfare looks like in 10 years – Whether defense tech valuations are sustainable CC: Jack Kuhr Even on building a space defense prime 👇

True Anomaly has successfully completed Mission 2 of VICTUS HAZE, the United States Space Force's end-to-end demonstration of tactically responsive space (TacRS). Multiple mission plans built and validated in under 30 minutes, powered by tight integration between Jackal and Mosaic, and backstopped by our operators' expertise. True Anomaly is now the first company ever to execute a space-to-space pursuit of an evading target in a TacRS mission.
