People with IDD need your support in the FY27 Budget! A 3% COLA increase for home and community-based services would protect supports for people with IDD, provide safe and reliable care, and address rising operational costs for providers. This funding would also help to increase wages for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to outpace minimum wage and reflect their value to people with IDD and their families. Senator Zwicker and Assemblywoman Murphy have sponsored resolutions to include this funding in the FY27 Budget. Contact your legislators and tell them to support Senate Resolution #261 and Assembly Resolution #131! The Arc, Ocean County Chapter held a successful Step Up for The Arc Walk on May 9th. The day would not have been possible without the help of volunteers such as Personalized Communication Design Services, who photographed the event.

We had an incredible Step Up for The Arc Walk Day raising over $92,000 for The Arc's programs and services for people with disabilities! Shout out to Quantum Creations LLC for capturing these special moments. 🧡

Our #ArcOcean North Bay ATC was lucky to have OceanFirst Bank brighten their day with sparkly shamrock arts and crafts. Their kindness and creativity created a wonderful experience for our participants!

Congratulations to Aurora Tillett, our #ArcOcean Employee of the Month! Since joining us in 2020 at our Tuckerton ATC, she has made a huge impact on the participants with her dedication and artistic talents. Aurora’s compassion and patience truly shine, making her an invaluable part of our team.
