Disney has a long track record of respect and appreciation for those who serve and was thrilled to kick off a multi-city series of Disney Veterans Institute events in Washington, D.C. Since 2013, this program has brought together business leaders, HR professionals, and business owners who are passionate about creating opportunities for Veterans and military spouses. Over 100 attendees came together to share best practices for expanding outreach, training, and supporting Veteran and military spouse talent. Industry leaders led interactive sessions focused on unlocking the unique strengths military-connected talent brings to the workforce. Attendees left with practical, real-world insights that organizations of any size can use to expand employment access and build more inclusive workplaces. The journey continues in Los Angeles at the end of August, where we'll bring this same energy and expertise to the next event in the series.
