Who knew bagels could spark so many great conversations? 🥯☕ The morning of Wed. July 15, fourteen development/fundraising professionals from Jewish nonprofit organizations across the Dallas area gathered over coffee and bagels to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another. One of the highlights? Taking a "Which Bagel Are You?" quiz. We broke into our "bagel groups" to discuss questions tied to our results. It was a fun way to spark conversations about our strengths, relationship-building styles, and the unique perspectives each of us brings to our organizations. Beyond the bagels, the morning was a reminder of how valuable it is to step away from our desks, build relationships with peers, exchange ideas, and strengthen the network of professionals working to make our communities stronger. Our recent Men’s Charity Poker Night brought together fathers, sons, grandfathers, mentors, colleagues, and friends for an unforgettable evening of camaraderie, competition, and generosity “All in” support of our Financial Assistance Fund. From seasoned card players to first-time bluffers, the night showcased the power of community across generations, united by a shared commitment to helping seniors.
