Across the globe, our team wrapped up another wonderful in-cosmetics Korea last week! This year, we presented 11 themed kits across skin care, hair care, sun care and color cosmetics, highlighting solutions that respond to the diverse needs of the Korean beauty market. Another highlight was our technical seminar, where we introduced OPUNTIA Oléoactif® --- the new stretch mark care solution powered by our exclusive Oléo-éco-extraction™ technology.

A scholarly review by our colleague Dr. Ratan Chaudhuri was recently published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science. “Bakuchiol: From structural mimicry to systems-level skin biology” represents the culmination of more than twenty years of scientific work on this ingredient and builds upon the landmark 2014 publication that helped establish bakuchiol as a credible alternative to retinol. Interestingly, the review challenges the longstanding 'retinol alternative' positioning of bakuchiol. Scientific evidence now supports a much broader and more differentiated narrative. Bakuchiol’s reputation has evolved from a promising natural molecule into a category-defining ingredient with global recognition, a systems-level modulator of skin biology that influences multiple interconnected pathways.
