As the fourth annual Mandel Opera & Humanities Festival comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the remarkable performances, conversations, and community experiences centered around the theme of courage. As Festival Curator Terence Blanchard shared: “The 2026 Mandel Opera & Humanities Festival is about courage, the courage to speak your mind, the courage to be able to listen and truly hear, the courage to allow all of us to have a voice and come together as a community should.” Through music, storytelling, and thoughtful dialogue, this year’s festival brought artists, audiences, and community partners together in inspiring and impactful ways. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s festival possible. Until next year!
