When transaction volume keeps climbing, a bigger fincrime team isn’t always the answer. You need a system that helps you stay lean and move faster. Willow Wealth (formerly Yieldstreet) knows both sides of that challenge. The team's marketplace for institutional-grade alternative investing has facilitated over $6B in transactions for 500,000+ investors since 2015. Behind those numbers sits Financial Crimes Manager Chris DelBianco: the expert whose job is to catch what everyone else misses. And as more and more money moved through the platform, he had to do it without expanding his team. Using the AI features embedded in Taktile's Case Manager, Chris rebuilt Willow Wealth’s transaction monitoring workflows and successfully: → Cut complex case reviews from almost an hour to ~10 mins → Opened up capacity to handle more transactions with zero new hires → Got the new system live in ~8 weeks, with 314(a) processing and SAR filing in the same workflow … all while ensuring he still had the final call on every decision (and the breathing room to plan for growth instead of bracing for it). We’re back on the Inc. 5000 list. 🚀 Taktile has been named one of America’s fastest-growing companies by Inc. Magazine for the second year running, and we couldn't be more proud. In the past 6 years, we’ve scaled our team, expanded our footprint from Berlin to São Paulo, and driven AI transformation across some of the world’s largest banks and insurers. Powered by this growth, we're excited to see Taktile in the top 300 once again - ranked at number 251. None of this happens without our incredible team, customers, and partners. Thank you for staying with us on the journey!

Taktile Co-Founder and CEO Maik Taro Wehmeyer chats to the team at NYSE about the future of AI in banking and insurance - and why more is possible now than just 8 months ago.
If an AI agent at a bank or insurer makes a wrong decision, that mistake is very expensive. It’s the reason FSIs haven’t adopted as fast as other industries. But this is now changing - AI can handle things that were not possible just 8 months ago. With the latest AI models banks can fully automate decisions like “Can I safely do business with this customer?” or “How much should I lend this SMB?”. However just because AI plays a huge role in increasing automation it isn’t the full picture. You still need a human in the loop. And you don’t want to use AI unless it’s adding real value - otherwise you add cost and risk with no upside. At Taktile we see the institutions that create real value with AI and keep regulators happy thread together 3 things: 1. AI agents. This is the task crusher. Agents speed through tasks that take hours to do manually. For example searching for adverse media mentions of a company or pulling data from customer documents. 2. Deterministic rules. These are the traffic controller. They make sure the decisions that should never happen do not happen. If loan applicant is based in X country, don’t approve. 3. Human experts. They are are the experienced business users who oversee everything. They monitor performance of the system and give feedback to agents so they can keep improving. Building the agents is where most teams can move pretty fast. It gets harder when you begin to combine agents with rules and human reviewers - and that complexity is the reason Taktile exists. Huge thank you to Ashley Mastronardi for having me on the show at NYSE.

For Remitly’s Kevin Duarte, the formula for effective customer onboarding is simple: verify every legitimate customer on the first attempt. In our recent webinar, he broke down why: → First impressions last. Verifying a customer immediately builds trust, and that trust is the foundation of a long-term partnership. → Seconds matter. Every additional second during onboarding can erode that trust, making speed and accuracy a key focus for Kevin’s team. → Small solutions have a big impact. When AI handles a bounded task like address formatting, cleaner inputs lead to more reliable decisions and a smoother experience when it matters most. Our Forward-Deployed Engineering team is growing. 🚀 In a new blog, the team shares what the day-to-day of an FDE looks like at Taktile: FDE is the hottest role in tech right now, but every company has a different definition. At Taktile, being a Forward-Deployed engineer means owning the customer's results, not just the code. That means: → Insurance claims paid in minutes instead of weeks. → Credit decisions accelerated when businesses are in need. → New customers onboarded faster than competitors. An FDE's job is to take an enterprise from signed contract to outcomes running in production - and enabling customers to continue improving performance long after we step back. Today, Taktile has a fast growing team of FDEs working across Berlin, London, New York, San Francisco and Munich, deploying agentic decisioning inside some of the world's largest banks and insurers. Curious? Check out the team’s deep dive on how they work, the values that guide them, and what they’re looking for in new hires. Link in the comments 👇
