We are looking for an Office Coordinator to join our studio in Miami. This is a full-time, in-office role for someone who genuinely enjoys keeping things running — the kind of person who notices what needs to happen before anyone asks. You’ll be the first face people see when they walk through our doors and a key part of how our team stays organized and connected day to day. If you have a background in office coordination, reception, or hospitality and thrive in a creative, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you. 📍 In-office | Cocount Grove, FL Link in comments.

Architecture Sarasota is proud to premiere the inaugural episode of Sarasota School: A Living Legacy. The documentary series chronicles the profound impact, evolution, and ongoing relevance of the Sarasota School of Architecture. Directed by Ryan Lester, the series investigates this regional movement not as a static historical era, but as a living philosophy. While the movement began a century ago with the arrival of architect Ralph Twitchell, its core principles—environmental adaptation, structural experimentation, and a deep connection to the subtropical climate—remain vital to the global architectural discourse today. This series seeks to bridge the gap between the mid-century pioneers and a new generation of architects who are evolving these foundational concepts for the 21st century. The pilot episode features the award-winning Van der Vlugt Residence by Strang Design , the renowned Miami-based design firm led by Max Strang, FAIA. The film offers an intimate look at how Strang successfully applies the Sarasota School’s principles to modern climate challenges. Elevated ten feet for resiliency against sea-level rise, this home blends sculptural board-formed concrete with passive cooling to harmonize artful design with its coastal environment. Its striking curvature and floor-to-ceiling glass create a seamless, climate-responsive connection between the sophisticated interior and the waterfront landscape. Following the screening, attendees will enjoy an in-depth conversation between Max Strang, FAIA, and Architecture Sarasota President Morris Hylton III. This discussion will delve into the intersection of history and modern practice, exploring what role the Sarasota School plays in shaping our culture and values today. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session. This premiere presentation is a part of city-wide programming with Open House Miami.
