Here's the dirty secret about video production: the "what's your budget" dance is just as annoying for us as it is for you. You never really know how much lighting, grip, and audio you need until you've briefed a production partner. And if your company is young without in-house producers, it's even murkier. Either way, you have to get a quote first. For small projects like interviews, launches, testimonials, or founder content, that back-and-forth costs everybody unnecessary time. So today we're launching our first ever productized offer at STMNT Studios. One flat rate, no quote, no back-and-forth. You book a date, choose one of eleven pre-built sets, and send us your script. When I first came up with the name STMNT it made a lot of sense to me what it means. Turns out people are not inside of my brain... This was long overdue - I hope this clarifies it if you ever wondered.

San Francisco friends - we're hosting a fun event at our studio on November 14 together with COY Community. People from science, tech, and other “hard to explain” fields explain their work in 3 mins. Audience rings a bell (*gong*) if they don’t get it. Presenters have to stop and explain. For presenters: Practice your pitch, get friendly feedback. For the audience: Learn a ton about topics you have no idea about and ask the questions you always wanted to ask. There will be food and drinks. Our biggest announcements were Plaid LendScore and Trust Index 2 (Ti2) 🚀 Check out the videos 😊 - A few months back, as we leaned more into video content, we decided to start shooting right here in our office—directly under an HVAC (lol). The dream? A self-serve video studio where teams can easily create content in-house. It’s been a long process of trial, error, drilling, and steaming (lots of steaming), but we’re getting there! I’m so proud of these Fall Product videos because they perfectly capture the blend of Plaid’s personality: the warmth of people, wood, and fabric mixed with our techy, vibrant gradients. It really does take a whole crew to make short and spiffy product videos come to life.
