Members of our ASPIRE employee resource group recently attended the Ascend Engage leadership conference, where they explored leadership, career development, emerging technologies, and the future of work while connecting with professionals from diverse industries. ASPIRE is an ERG at Sonepar open to all associates that celebrates Asian Americans' and Pacific Islanders' experiences and cultures while fostering an inclusive work environment. #AAPI #PoweredByDifference

This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) awards ceremony, where Sonepar was recognized for our commitment to supporting veterans and military families. It was an honor to be there and spend time with organizations dedicated to serving those who have served our country. We were also recently named a 2026 Top Veteran Employer by U.S. Veterans Magazine. Veterans, reservists, and military spouses bring integrity and a strong sense of purpose to our business every day. We owe it to them to create opportunities for fulfilling careers in a workplace that values their experience and contributions. Sonepar supports the military community through actions like: -Partnering with military transition programs to connect service members with career opportunities -Expanding veteran hiring pipelines across our U.S. companies -Supporting military spouse employment and career growth -Investing in mentorship, development, and career advancement -Creating community and support through our MERGE employee resource group I'd like to thank Chris Miles, a 26-year U.S. Army veteran, for his leadership of our military and veteran outreach efforts. Thanks to Chris’ relentless energy and commitment to his role, Sonepar has made incredible progress in our veteran recruiting program. We look forward to continuing to build on this work and creating even more opportunities for those who have served and their families.

More than 100 Sonepar USA associates attended this year's Women in Industry Forum, NAED's largest professional development event. Since 2021, we’ve invested in the growth of 600+ associates through this industry-leading experience. Beyond the sessions, one of the most meaningful parts of the experience is the opportunity to connect with peers and leaders from across the industry. Our annual dinner, hosted by Sonepar's Women Advocating Today for Tomorrow (WATT), brings many of those conversations together, creating space to share experiences and build relationships. By investing in development, we foster an inclusive culture that empowers our associates to grow, lead, and thrive in line with our global purpose of Powering Progress for Future Generations. Congratulations to our 2026 summer interns on completing their capstone projects last week! When I started my career, there was often an expectation to stay focused on your role and the work directly in front of you. What I see in today's interns is different. They're naturally curious about how the business works, how teams connect, and how they can contribute beyond their immediate responsibilities. I've been especially impressed by this group's willingness to raise their hands, ask thoughtful questions, and seek opportunities to learn. At Sonepar USA, we believe careers are built through curiosity, relationships, and the courage to step into something new. At our internship wrap-up lunch, Genevieve Burgmayer, shared a message: some of the best opportunities come when you don't feel completely ready. Say yes. Raise your hand. And take that step forward. I see this mindset in our interns and wish them the best as they return to school and prepare for their next chapter. The future is bright, and it's in good hands. The Henri Coisne Memorial Trophy has made its way from Europe all the way to Charleston, South Carolina! After making stops at NorthEast Electrical in Massachusetts and Irby Utilities in Mississippi, the trophy arrived at Sonepar's Charleston office as part of its year-long tour of the USA. More than an award, the Henri Coisne Memorial Trophy represents the entrepreneurial spirit, commitment to our Purpose and dedication of associates across Sonepar. We're proud to celebrate this recognition and the people who made it possible. Next stop: Cooper Electric!
