Your team got approval to fix how data is stored and reported. Then the monthly reports, grant updates, and board meetings kept coming! And none of them could wait. So the upgrade keeps slipping, quarter after quarter, while the spreadsheets stay put. Instead, what helps is a clear order of steps, knowing what to fix first, so reporting keeps running while the foundation improves. On October 1, Carnelian Horsey and Rohan Bhandari from Microsoft, with Ritesh Shah from Simform, will show how to plan that order, where Microsoft Fabric fits in a phased upgrade, and where early results can show up. 👉 Register: https://lnkd.in/eApq5Vnw 📅 October 1, 2026 | 10 – 11 AM PT 🗣 Speakers: 1. Carnelian Horsey, Cloud and AI Platform Specialist, Microsoft 2. Ritesh Shah, Field CTO, Simform 3. Rohan Bhandari, Solutions Engineer, Data – Cloud and AI platforms, Microsoft

A Fabric reservation is a one-year commitment at roughly 41% below pay-as-you-go, and it cannot be paused. So the SKU you size before your retirement list is settled quietly underwrites every unused report, orphaned pipeline, and unclaimed transformation rule for the next twelve months — at the rate you negotiated down. Most teams treat retirement as cleanup to run after cutover. It's really a sizing input, and you only get one shot at it. Your Power BI renewal date sets when you have to buy, and it won't wait for the scoping to finish. The four decisions worth settling before scope locks 👇

Everyone has an opinion on AI agents. Building one yourself is how you form an informed one. That's why I'm looking forward to October 8. Together with Samaksh Khatri, I'll be one of the instructors for Agent in a Day, a free, full-day, hands-on workshop in Microsoft Copilot Studio that we're running at Simform with Microsoft. It's built for business and IT teams, and it's beginner-level, so no coding background is needed. Over the day, you'll build an agent layer by layer: - Create it by describing what you want in plain language - Ground it in business knowledge so its answers stay accurate and relevant - Connect it to ready-made integrations so it can take action, not just reply - Automate it with agent flows so it can act on its own, without waiting to be asked What matters most to me is what happens after the workshop. Once you understand how these pieces fit together, you can go back to your team with an informed view of where agents can make a difference and what it takes to build them. That's a far better starting point for any AI plan than another demo. If your team has been debating what agents could do for you, build one with us. 📅 Thursday, Oct 8 | 9 AM – 5 PM PT | Online Register here: https://hubs.la/Q04y6Lrc0

A company spends a year and a large budget building an AI tool for its employees, launches it, and six months later hardly anyone is using it. Brandon Micci has seen this happen with a lot of enterprise AI products. In this clip, he tells Rameshwar Balanagu the real reasons these tools get ignored, and what teams should do from the very start so people actually want to use them. Brandon Micci, Head of AI Strategy & Business Transformation at a leading global bank, in conversation with Rameshwar Balanagu, Co-Founder at Dallas CTO Club. "Our Fabric costs are unpredictable." We hear this every week. And the pattern behind it is consistent: cost is treated as a quarterly cleanup instead of an engineering discipline designed in from day one. It's one of four conversations our data platform engineers are bringing to Booth 17 at FabCon Europe 2026: - How do we migrate without breaking what's already running? Phased playbooks, TrueMorph automation, and engineers who plan around your production schedule. - We need our data platform to be AI-ready. GenBI, semantic modelling, and production AI pipelines with governance built in. - Our Fabric costs are unpredictable. Capacity governance, workload segmentation, and a FinOps operating model that makes spend legible. - We adopted Fabric. Now it needs to scale. DataOps pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring that turn a pilot into a production platform. If any of these sound familiar, that's what Booth 17 is for. Meet Prayaag Kasundra (CEO), Hiren Dhaduk (CTO), Hardik Shah (CRO), Cade Procell (Strategic Revenue Partner), and Marco Ignacio (Account Executive). 📅 28 September – 1 October 2026 📍 Booth 17, Expo Floor, CCIB, Barcelona 🔗 Bring us the problem, we'll bring the roadmap: https://lnkd.in/e_sH9Bi4 Plus, unwind with us at the FabCon Pre-Game on 30 September, alongside Microsoft representatives and fellow leaders. 🔗 Save your spot: https://lnkd.in/eCvSqa6C European Microsoft Fabric + SQL Community Conference | Microsoft Fabric #FabConEurope #MicrosoftFabric #MSPartner #MicrosoftPartner

Are chart summarization and care-gap identification competing to be your first clinical AI use case, with no clear way to decide? Does your Fabric estate pass every reporting check, while nobody can say whether it would support a risk score? ➜ This webinar is where you solve that. Simform and Microsoft experts walk through activating a governed patient data estate through Microsoft Foundry, covering use-case sequencing, data readiness, and grounding AI outputs in trusted enterprise data. Join the session to leave with a working sequence for your first clinical AI use cases and the oversight each one needs. Every fix so far has been a new tool. Still, the reports get rebuilt by hand. A new dashboard, a new connector, a new warehouse. Each one moved data somewhere at a newer place. None of them changed the fact that three systems can describe the same program three different ways. Moving data is not the same as fixing it. On October 1, Simform and Microsoft will work through a framework for assessing your data estate: - Where connectivity is enough - Where governance is the gap - Where modernization is worth the investment Then, where #MicrosoftFabric fits in a phased data journey, evaluated on implementation reality rather than vendor positioning. 👉 Register: https://lnkd.in/eApq5Vnw 📅 1st October 2026, 10 – 11 AM PT 🗣 Speakers: Carnelian Horsey, Cloud and AI Platform Specialist, Microsoft Ritesh Shah, Field CTO, Simform Rohan Bhandari, Solutions Engineer, Data – Cloud and AI platforms, Microsoft #Nonprofit #MSPartner

Build the use cases. Add the agents. Adjust the headcount. Then work out what any of it actually saved. That last step is where most enterprise AI programs discover the number was a guess. Episode 3 of ECAF Voices, our Enterprise Cloud and AI Forum series, is now live. Rameshwar Balanagu, Co-Founder at Dallas CTO Club, sits down with Brandon Micci, Head of AI Strategy and Business Transformation at a leading global bank. Brandon has built AI and analytics programs across aviation, capital markets, and banking. A few things he gets into. - A first use case that spent a year in governance, in front of a board still working out what it was reviewing. - A savings number his own team produced, which he threw out, and the measured baseline he replaced it with. - Why most AI centers of excellence end up approving work rather than directing it. The conversation stays on how these decisions actually get made rather than on tooling.   👉 Full episode: https://lnkd.in/ex9W2AxT #ECAFVoices

Moving your data warehouse to a new platform doesn't fix its old problems. It just relocates them. Many Fabric roadmaps stop at that move and call it modernization. Real modernization goes further: it fixes the architecture, governance, and quality issues along the way. That difference is what Booth 17 at FabCon Europe 2026 is built around. Catch the live demo of TrueMorph, our AI-powered migration and modernization accelerator. It modernizes data warehouses with intelligent automation, so your data arrives secure, accurate, and AI-ready. Then bring your hardest Fabric question to the team that has these conversations every week: Prayaag Kasundra (CEO), Hiren Dhaduk (CTO), Hardik Shah (CRO), Cade Procell (Strategic Revenue Partner), and Marco Ignacio (Account Executive) 📅 28 September – 1 October 2026 📍 Booth 17, Expo Floor, CCIB, Barcelona 🔗 Tell us what you're solving, and we'll have the right engineer ready: https://lnkd.in/e_sH9Bi4 And when the sessions wind down on 30 September, join us at the FabCon Pre-Game for drinks and conversation with Microsoft representatives and fellow leaders. 🔗 Save your spot: https://lnkd.in/eCvSqa6C European Microsoft Fabric + SQL Community Conference | Microsoft Fabric #FabConEurope #MicrosoftFabric #MSPartner #MicrosoftPartner
