Did you know Shriners Children's Philadelphia and Shriners Children's Doylestown treat concussions? At one cheerleading practice, Addison took an elbow to the face, resulting in a concussion. Due to the proactive and detail-oriented care of sports medicine physician, Dr. Kaskowitz, as well as physical medicine and rehabilitation physician Dr. Lipa, Addison is back to cheering with her squad. Addison was treated in our Doylestown clinic and Philadelphia hospital. 💡Did you know? There is no need to be seen by our physicians first for rehabilitation services. Shriners Children’s Philadelphia has offered rehabilitation services to its patients for as long as it has existed. Now, it is simpler for parents to find therapy service, regardless of whether their child is seen by a Shriners Children’s physician. Suppose a child is seen by their pediatrician, or other physician, and is prescribed therapy services. In that case, parents and guardians could call directly to get therapy services without seeing one of our Shriners Children’s physicians. Compassionate care, coupled with our collaborative approach to treatment, makes us stand apart as a trusted provider for a child with therapy needs.
