By improving accessibility and creating flexible spaces that support diverse learning styles, the project illustrates how integrated planning can transform constraints into lasting opportunities for generations of students.

July marks Disability Pride Month, commemorating the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. To recognize the month, our Bulfinches co-led an immersive ADA workshop at the Mayo Clinic Campus in Scottsdale. Presented by AIA Arizona Phoenix Metro, Women in Architecture and the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee, the hands-on workshop challenged architects and designers to think beyond code compliance and experience accessibility from the perspective of the people they design for.
