Nearly 70 years of legacy. 7,000 acres of opportunity. And a visionary 3.0 framework. In a landmark decision, Research Triangle Park companies and landowners gave unanimous approval to revolutionary new development standards. This milestone allows for the thoughtful addition of mixed-use and residential developments, evolving the single-use corporate campus into a dynamic regional destination. As we step into this next chapter, we’re excited to shape a space for even greater connection, value and growth for every business, neighbor, and innovator in our region. #ResearchTriangleRegion #RTP #SiteSelection #MixedUseDevelopment #TriangleNC

Foreign Direct Investment is contributing greatly to the explosive growth here in the Research Triangle Region of North Carolina. In the last 3 years alone, international firms have invested close to $7B in our region and created 3,500 new jobs for our residents. Over 700 companies from Europe, Asia, and around the world now call our region home, and they are continuing to invest here for many reasons, including: - 2% corporate tax rate (Corporate tax rate will be eliminated by 2030) - 3.99% flat individual income tax rate (projected to decrease to 3.49% in 2027) - Talent (NC invests heavily in education: over 50% of the $34B state budget goes to Ed) - Customized workforce training ($230M spent on biomanufacturing training alone) - Energy and industrial lease rates that are 30% lower than the national average - Proximity to customers (75% of the US population (250M) lives within a 1-day drive of NC) - International Connectivity (Daily non-stops to destinations including CDG, LHR, and FRA) Many of the above factors contributed greatly to North Carolina being voted by CNBC as the best state for business 3 out of the last 5 years. If your company is not here yet, now is the time to invest! #ResearchTriangle #NorthCarolina #Manufacturing #EconomicDevelopment #ForeignDirectInvestment #BusinessGrowth #SiteSelection #GlobalBusiness

As we look back on an incredible week of connection and collaboration at the 2026 BIO International Convention, we want to extend our gratitude to the counties that helped represent the Research Triangle Region and the state of North Carolina. Throughout the event, teams had the privilege of showcasing the vital role our region plays on the global stage. From groundbreaking research to commercial manufacturing, the Research Triangle Region continues to prove itself as a premier destination for biotechnology. Last week allowed us to reflect on the core pillars that make it all possible: our world-class infrastructure, our deep-rooted collaborative partnerships, and the vibrant communities that support the life sciences workforce every day. Thank you to Franklin County, NC, Wake County Economic Development, Johnston County Government, Sanford Area Growth Alliance, Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce, Research Triangle Park and North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBiotech) for representing our region at BIO 2026. #BIO2026 #ResearchTriangleRegion #LifeSciences #DrivenByPurpose
