I am thrilled to be speaking at the upcoming National Society of Genetic Counselors webinar: "Leading Without the Title: How Genetic Counselors Can Navigate Leadership Across Changing Roles." As genetic counselors, we are increasingly moving into roles where leadership happens through influence, clinical expertise, and strategic cross-functional partnerships rather than formal management. In this session, we’ll move beyond generic leadership advice and dive into a real, peer-to-peer conversation grounded in actual role transitions within the genetics and diagnostics space. Whether you are a seasoned GC in a commercial role, navigating a recent shift to peer-level influence, or just wondering how leadership fits into your evolving professional identity, this conversation is for you. 🗓️ Date: Wednesday, August 19, 2026 🕛 Time: 12:00 PM CDT 📍 Register here: https://lnkd.in/g_3tjG8V I hope to see you there!

We're proud of the incredible work our laboratory teams do every day. As demand for cyclospora testing has surged, our scientists and technicians have worked tirelessly to help deliver timely, accurate results that support patients and healthcare providers. Thank you to The Wall Street Journal for highlighting the dedication of our teams.
Samples—and a certain stink—are accumulating at Quest Diagnostics thanks to the cyclosporiasis outbreak. Quest typically performs between 30 and 40 cyclospora tests a day across its 10 labs equipped to do them. Now they’re processing more than 1,500. Scientists and technicians are working overtime to manage the brown onslaught. Yes, it smells. No, it doesn’t gross techs out. 🧪 Read more: https://on.wsj.com/458R2HU
