Meet Cédric Fallu, our Finance Operations Lead for the AMEA region at Opella. For him, growth has never been a straight line. Over the past 13 years, his journey has taken him from internal audit, finance operations, performance and accounts, and reporting, each step opening new opportunities to learn and grow. Those moves did not happen because the path was obvious, but because he was willing to step into the unknown. His advice to his team, and to his children: "If you're not failing, you're not even trying. The messy close, the challenging transition: these aren't walls in the way. They are the way." For Cédric, being Outcome-obsessed goes beyond delivering results. It means recognizing potential in people before they see it themselves, helping them take on challenges they may not yet feel ready for. That's how ambition becomes a shared goal. Because at Opella, growth isn't something that happens to you. It's something we build, All in.Together. Ready to help make self-care as simple as it should be? Up to 50% of travelers experience digestive issues (1), like constipation, diarrhea and bloating. Almost everyone feels something. And no one talks about it. Many also struggle with: 💤 Disrupted sleep rhythms leading to fatigue. 💧 Dehydration. 🤧 Allergies. Yet it’s still an afterthought in planning. By prioritizing your body’s needs, you can make each trip less about managing discomfort and more about embracing the experience. At Opella, we believe in bringing health in your hands, even when you’re on the move. Together, we can empower travelers to take charge of their well-being and explore the world with confidence. #Opella #HealthInYourHands (1) Based on clinical data from the Journal of Travel Medicine (2017/2026) and the CDC, which estimate that 20% to 50% of international travelers experience gastrointestinal disruption.

Health literacy is not having the information. It is having the clarity to know and act. 84.9% of pharmacists meet patient misinformation at least monthly. Did you know that obesity and metabolic disorders could cost the global economy more than $4 trillion a year by 2035? Yet when talking about obesity, fatty liver and its hidden warning signs are rarely considered. On June 10, Opella supported the Economics of Obesity and Metabolic Health Summit in Brussels. Healthcare professionals and policymakers gathered to address why prevention pays off, both in easing disease burden and reducing pressure on health systems. Here's what experts are calling for: ▪️Screen regularly and early to detect metabolic risk before it escalates. ▪️Bring obesity and liver health conversations from specialist offices to everyday healthcare. ▪️Unite obesity, liver health, and metabolic risk under one stronger policy agenda. Self-care starts with action. Let’s take the first step to close the gap together, All in.Together. 👉 Read more from the Economics of Obesity and Metabolic Health Summit: https://lnkd.in/ebzeAZqP #Opella #HealthInYourHands #FattyLiverDisease #MASLD #AskYourLiver #MetabolicHealth #Obesity #PublicHealth

The heatwave (might) have already passed. Your hay fever probably hasn't. If you're reaching for an antihistamine to get through the sneezes, here's what you should know before heading to the pharmacy counter. Antihistamines differ in their side effect profiles. During periods of high temperatures, some side effects may be more noticeable or may add to summer discomfort. First-generation antihistamines are associated with side effects such as reduced sweating, dry mouth, and drowsiness. During periods of high temperatures, particular caution is advised with medicines that may affect thermoregulation or contribute to dehydration. The good news? There are modern antihistamine options designed to treat your symptoms without adding to your summer discomfort. Second-generation antihistamines were developed to minimize many of these effects, though differences still exist between active ingredients. Your pharmacist can help you find the suitable one. This summer, staying informed can help you manage allergy symptoms with confidence. As simple as it should be. 👉 Swipe through our carousel for tips on managing your allergies safely this summer. #Opella #HealthInYourHands #Allergies #HayFever #Heatwave #SelfCare #SummerHealth

What builds a pharmacist's confidence in supporting self-care? This International Self-Care Day, a new report from the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) highlights a simple reality: pharmacists play a critical role in helping people make informed health decisions. Drawing on insights from 779 pharmacists across 45 countries, the report found that: ▪️Pharmacists are most confident when supporting routine self-care consultations, but confidence decreases when managing more complex situations, such as patients at higher risk or those presenting with unclear symptoms. ▪️84.9% of pharmacists encounter patient misinformation monthly, reinforcing the importance of health literacy in pharmacist-supported self-care. ▪️Time limitations and workload pressures remain the biggest barriers to providing optimal self-care support to patients. The report also identifies practical ways to strengthen pharmacist-supported self-care. Respondents highlighted greater access to credible digital tools, quick-reference clinical guidance, patient education resources and additional training as key enablers to support evidence-based decision-making, strengthen self-care consultations and help pharmacists navigate increasingly growing demands of practice despite time and workload pressures. When misinformation spreads, pharmacists are often the trusted healthcare professionals helping patients navigate reliable health information. At Opella, we are proud to support this research through our partnership with FIP, helping empower better self-care for all. #Opella #HealthInYourHands #InternationalSelfCareDay #Pharmacy #HealthLiteracy #FIP
